From working solo to a specialist team for driver training, motorsport engineering and consulting.
Our story
Our story
It all began at the racetrack in 2003. From the FIA GT World Championship to the MINI Challenge and the Porsche Carrera Cup, on to the Dakar Rally and many years as an engineer for BMW Motorsport in the DTM – those are the stages that still shape the way we work today.
Since 2011 we have also been at work as instructors worldwide: at vehicle presentations, photo and film productions and events that ask for more than routine.
In 2022 the solo operation became Otten TEC GmbH – with the aim of bringing that knowledge together in a team and taking on larger projects independently. Today Otten TEC is a growing team of specialist instructors and engineers, backed by a dependable partner network for more extensive projects.

BMW M Driving Experience
Training and event formats worldwide
As a dependable partner of the BMW M Driving Experience we look after training and event formats on an ongoing basis – among them M Track Days, M Race Track Trainings, the M Tech Workshop at the Nordschleife, M4 GT4 and M2 Racing test drives and the Ice Experience in Arjeplog.
Internationally too we are part of the regular crew: in the past we have supported the M Power Experience in Abu Dhabi and the M Track Days in Malaysia, Korea and Taiwan, among others – from preparation through to running them on site.
BMW M Motorsport Support
GT3 and GT4 customer racing
In GT3 and GT4 customer racing we support BMW M Motorsport customers with the technical expertise it takes to race successfully. We currently look after entries in the GT World Challenge Europe (since 2024), the GT4 European Series and the Spa-Francorchamps 24 Hours.
This is where our years of works motorsport experience feed directly into the success of our customers.
